Self-Paced, On-line Course

What:  The stories we tell ourselves about ourselves impact how we view ourselves, others and the world around us.  These stories impact our actions, our decisions, and how we navigate situations and challenges. They impact our personal lives and our work lives.

There’s science to back this up: Our brains interpret and understand the world around us through story. We also understand ourselves through story based on what we were told about ourselves by our parents, grandparents, family, teachers, friends, we then create the story of who we are. Or who we think we are.

The good news is we have the ability to re-wire our brains to tell a different story. We can steer our story rather than allow it to steer us! 

Through this hands-on, self-paced course Kristin will provide bite-sized reflections and journaling activities so you can begin to construct new stories to tell yourself based on current evidence rather than the chatter in your head. We will create a new narrative that serves you to step into your skill set, navigate challenges in a healthier manner, be more empowered to make better decisions in your personal and work life.

Time frame:   You can begin the course anytime that suits you.

You do the reflections and journal activities when it suits you. Scheduled group video calls once per week via Zoom, time/date to be decided. Links will be shared within the course materials.

May I suggest a journal (old school) or a Steer Your Story folder and word documents created on your own computer to capture your thoughts and reflections? The course will have weekly group discussions to post any discoveries you feel comfortable sharing within a group format. Sharing our stories serves us to realize we are not the only ones telling ourselves these stories about ourselves and gives a space for shared comments.
