After nearly 2 years of planning tonight I fly to Accra, Ghana to donate literacy workshops for 6 libraries and community centers partnering with Osu Children’s Library Fund and to share Artfully AWARE’s Story Book Project collecting True Tales of Innovation in 3 other cities. I am extremely grateful to all who’ve supported this trip: most especially to DuPont Rotary in DC for the event in July & Jane Wells Schooley in PA for creating the October fundraiser.   Thank you also to Mawuli Amedofu in Kumasi for all the connections within Ghana.

I look forward to immersing into Ghanaian cultures; sampling the spicy cuisine, learning a bit of artisan crafting and most definitely to hearing Stories from the People about their lives; their challenges, ideas, innovations, hopes and dreams.

It seems I will not have much access to internet though I will do my best to post a few updates while in country. Suffice it to say I am jazzed and ready to leap into another adventure. Our Stories connect us all. Our Stories Matter!

Wishing you your own Adventure; whatever that may be for you.
